Here two trucks from my archives. I hope someone of you can tell me more about the model and so on.
Ici, deux camions de mes archives. J'espère que quelqu'un d'entre vous peut me dire plus sur le modèle et ainsi de suite.
Le premier a été conduit en Hollande. Selon la liste des engagés, il s'agit d'une C4.
The first one was driven in Holland. According to the entry list, it is a C4.
Celui-ci est détenue en Belgique. Les volets dans le radiateur avis, c'est une GL?
This one is owned in Belgium. The shutters in the radiator suggest it is a GL?

La 1ère est une AC4 ,ancienne voiture coupée en camionnette. En effet le panneau à l'arrière des sièges est en bois

La 2 ème est une C4G en voie large,ancienne voiture coupée en camionnette elle aussi, car il n'y a pas eu d'utilitaire avec cette calandre thermostatique et des enjoliveurs de roues

This one is a genuine 1200kg truck a C4GI (1933) and above all it is mine!

Celui la est un authentique 1200 kg C4GI 1933 et surtout c est le mien!

wheels bigger 20' than the usuaL 45cm mounted on tourism cars

I think it is a C4 F .
It was in the original form a car which was cut to make a little truck .

... I'm confused. Do you mean all such pickups were originally built as a berline or something and after the car was completed, cut by the factory to make it a pickup...? Sounds illogical although it was common practice to convert cars into shooting brakes and convertibles in this way...
Or do you mean this particular car was originally built as a berline or something and later in its life converted into a pickup...?

Yes, after war it was very difficult to find petrol.
Only cars used by compagnies could have gasoline tickets, so that sedans were cut to make mini truck.

I start wondering how many of the original pickups built by Citroën do still survive .

There is a Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost in Belgium that was converted to a truck in the post-war era as well... What a pitty!

I am wondering the same. It's not easy to answer.

Moreover, 2 facts must be taken on consideration :
1- I really think that the german forces appreciated the Citroen original pickups and therefore a lot of them have been requisitioned (good translation ?) and sent to other battle fields (est front ?)
2- Few of them have been disassembled for restauring other C4 or C6.

Could very well be true. Let's blame it all on the Germans .
Actually, it is strange they used so many French cars (like the Renault) instead of using their own cars. Not really in line with the nationalist viewpoint I guess.

Do others agree this should be a C4F?

Je suis désolé j'ai oublié de mettre la traduction google dans mes messages.

En résumé: la voiture dans mon image ressemble à un C4F, selon Roadster. J'ai demandé confirmation.

Beaucoup de voitures ont été transformés en camions après la guerre, tant de camions survivant n'a pas quitté l'usine en tant que telle.
L'armée allemande a utilisé beaucoup de camions dans leur effort de guerre.

Mon image semble montrer une voiture convertie.

Factory made trucks looked like this
Note that the rear pillar of the body is one sided,converted tourim cars havetwo sided pillars.

The other distinctive feature is the 6 or 8 nuts wheels for more than 500/ 800 kg trucks these using tourism chassis frame.

Remarquer le montant de caisse arriere a un seul coté les caisses de tourisme transformées ont des montants a deux cotés.
L autre signe distinctif ce sont les roues a 6 ou 8 goujons pour les plus de 500/800 kg ces derniers utilisant des chassis de tourisme.
