Firstly my apologies for using english on your forum, however my school boy French is 10 years old now and very poor!!

Last week I took delivery of the AC4 below, originally from the Correze region, perhaps someone on the forum lives nearby or may even know the truck?
There are some hints to its working life i.e.
What I believe to be the first owner's name plate on the dashboard,
Registration plate (right hand side) with;
Surname
The abbreviation: CPOS? Does anyone know what this might stand for?

The rear body appears to be a locally made livestock cage, possibly for carrying hounds? (tailgate lifts out and dosn't pivot to allow it to be used as a loading ramp)
I have had the engine running roughly, hopefully a light overhaul to include, piston rings, valves, gaskets etc will be all that is required!

First job has been to remove the worn tyres from their rims with the help of some French muscle..
I have 4 split rims, all michelin however 2 are concave dish and 2 are convex dish, all 6 stud. Did Citroen ever mix the two on a vehicle? Also 1 is pretty badly corroded, has anyone repaired these before?


Thanks in advance, I have many more questions etc but not sure if this is the correct place to ask them! Also will be in need of quite a few spares if anyone can help please?!

"J'ai eu le moteur fonctionnant(courant) grossièrement, avec bon espoir une révision légère pour inclure, des segments de pistons, des valves, les joints seront etc tout ce qui est exigé!

D'abord le travail a dû enlever les pneus portés de leurs bords(jantes) avec l'aide d'un certain muscle français.."

"J'ai 4 bords(jantes) de rupture(répartition), tout le Michelin cependant 2 est le plat concave et 2 sont le plat convexe, tout le 6 goujon. Citroën a-t-il jamais mélangé les deux sur un véhicule ? Aussi 1 est assez mal corrodé, quelqu'un a-t-il réparé ceux-ci auparavant ?

All wheels straight side to be of the flat type with 6.50 X 20 tyres to be verified some trucks where fitted with bigger tyres on the rear.

The convex type are for 1200kg or later U23.

Pour faire court Geoges vient de rentrer cette C4, il aimerait bien savoir si quelqu'un connait son 1000 kg de Correze.

il cherche des roues de 1000 kget envisage juste un redémarrage.

Mon nom est George , je suis 26 et je vis sur l'île de Wight . C'est ma première Citroen ( Elle vit ici aussi en Angleterre ) . J'espère terminer la restauration de noël cette année que nous avons une journée thématique française et Elsie vais être le complément parfait .

-The rear body was to carry : goats,pigs,lambs,......Look at the small doors.

-The left front wheel does'nt the good model, because tyre is out of the aisle

-About CPOS, would you show a photo of this blue plate on the right rear side
