well the oil leakkage seems to be at this point very common. As you see the ridge on the crank has to drop in alloy gap. Most oil is comming out because of the oilpressure built up between bearing and tap. This sprays oil with force to the alloy 2 piece end cap (as told to me).
Probably you can use a modern rubberseal. Unfortunatly you have to cut it in two pieces and gleu them togheter. I will post your question also on the Dutch patan website. I'm struggeling with your problem to...

J'ai entendu parlé :scratch: d' un alésage puis un roulement a bille, (a h oui mais est ce qu'on parl ede la pompe a eau la :boulet: ?) et plus aucun soucis apres...
I dont know if you talk about the water pomp, but if it s the pomp, i heard about ball bearing to replace the piece......
